Mangaluru Sep 22: KMC Hospital, Attavar, Mangaluru, in association with Ayush Federation of India (R), Dakshina Kannada & Mangaluru, organised a special CME Programme on the eve of National Ayurveda Day on September 20 at The Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru.

The programme featured an insightful CME session on 'Diabetic kidney disease – Prevention is better than dialysis', delivered by Dr Bhushan Shetty, MBBS, MD (internal medicine), DM (nephrology), consultant nephrologist & transplant physician, KMC Hospital, Attavar, Mangaluru.

The programme was honoured by the presence of chief guest Dr Chakrapani M, professor & medical superintendent, KMC Hospital, Attavar, Mangaluru, whose presence added great significance to the occasion.

A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of five esteemed doctors, recognising their dedicated service, commitment and valuable contribution to healthcare and the community.
