Kozhikode, Sep 25: Kerala Chief Electoral Officer D Sajith Babu has said artificial intelligence-based tools will make election procedures simpler and more efficient.
Babu made the remarks after inspecting security arrangements at the EVM warehouse at Chathamangalam and attending a review meeting at the Collectorate conference hall on Thursday.
“AI-based tools would make the election process simpler and more efficient,” Babu said.
According to an official statement, the CEO provided guidelines on effectively using new AI-based tools being developed as per the Election Commission’s directions to make election-related activities faster and more effective.
The meeting, chaired by District Collector M S Madhavikutty, also reviewed the pendency of various election-related forms and the status of basic facilities at polling booths.
