Mangaluru, Sep 26: St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AI Sankalp Industry Academia Bengaluru, on September 25 to strengthen academic, research and community engagement through the Department of BCA, School of Information Science and Technology of the University.

The collaboration will promote AI, ML, DL learning and model development and enhance student and faculty capacity.

The partnership with the school of information science and technology will focus on technical and digital skills, collaborative research, and academic engagement.

The MoU was signed by Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, vice chancellor, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), and Dr Prashanth, CTO of AI Sankalp.

During the signing of MoU, Ayyappa, programme manager, AI Sankalp, Dr Ravindra Swami, associate dean of School of Information Science & Technology, Shilpa Shetty, HOD of Computer Science & Applications, Vinaya Durga, SIST, Roicy Rekha Braggs, assistant professor of Hindi, Savin Premi Lobo, chair of Entrepreneurship Cell of the University were present.
