Udupi, Sep 28: The Darpana Women’s Pili team extended financial assistance of Rs 1.50 lac towards the cancer treatment of two children undergoing treatment at the department of paediatric oncology, Kasturba Medical College and Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

The assistance was provided with the aim of supporting the children’s cancer treatment and offering financial relief to their families during the course of treatment.

The team stated that the initiative was made possible through the continued support and cooperation of children, parents, well-wishers, fans and supporters who have consistently stood by the Darpana Women’s Pili team.

The team expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the initiative and especially acknowledged the continuous encouragement, cooperation and support extended by the parents of the team’s children.

“This treatment assistance is the result of a collective effort. The love, trust and support of everyone who stood with us have been the driving force behind this initiative. We remain committed to undertaking more meaningful social initiatives in the future,” the Darpana Women’s Pili team said.

The team also wished the two children a speedy recovery and expressed its resolve to continue contributing to society through various welfare initiatives.
