Mangaluru, Sep 29: As part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah–2026, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital, Naringana, Deralakatte, Mangaluru, in collaboration with Jnanodaya Samaja (Regd), Daigoli, organized a free naturopathy and yoga camp at Sri Ganesh Mandir, Daigoli.
The camp was organized with the objective of promoting public health and creating awareness about healthy lifestyle practices. The camp was conducted providing various health screening, consultation and therapeutic services free of cost to the public.





As part of the camp, blood pressure screening, blood sugar testing and eye screening were conducted. In addition, free general medical consultation, diet and nutrition consultation, massage therapy, acupressure therapy, and yoga therapy and guidance were provided to the participants.
The major objective of the camp was to create awareness among the public about the importance of healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and yoga. The programme was organized as part of Rashtriya Poshan Maah–2026 to disseminate the importance of nutrition, preventive healthcare and healthy living practices among the community.
The health services were provided under the guidance of Dr Sangeethalakshmi M J, medical officer; Dr Vinay Kumar T, medical officer; and Dr Ajith K, diet consultant. Faculty, staff and students of Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital actively participated in organizing the camp and providing health services to the public.
The programme conveyed the message, 'Health is the greatest wealth – Let us join hands in building a healthier society', encouraging the public to adopt healthy dietary and lifestyle practices for better health and well-being.
