Mangaluru, Oct 1: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, celebrated its Patron’s Day with great joy, faith and enthusiasm on September 30 honouring its beloved patron, St Therese of Lisieux. The celebration was held on the theme ‘The little way – A great journey,’ inspired by St Therese’s simple yet profound spirituality of doing little things with great love.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest, Sr Shubha, superior of Bethany Mother House, Bendur, along with the principal, Sr Lourdes and vice principal Sr Vidya. The highlight of the celebration was a captivating dance drama, ‘Miracles of St Therese of Lisieux,’ presented by the students. Through graceful movements, music and expressive performances, the students portrayed significant aspects of St Therese’s life and her enduring message of faith, humility and love.

Addressing the gathering, Sr Shubha, chief guest, spoke about the relevance of St Therese’s Little Way in the lives of young people. She encouraged the students to practise love, kindness and service through the simple things they do every day.
