Mangaluru, Oct 2: The career guidance programme for Grade X was held at the LCS Summit Hall on October 1.

The resource persons, CA Kiran Vasant, founder and chief mentor of KVC Academy, and Abhimanyu Tomar, alumnus of NIT Delhi and Centre Head of Allen Career Institute, Mangaluru, were present along with other faculty members of Allen Career Institute.

The programme focused on providing students with valuable insights into career choices, effective learning strategies, and future opportunities. Subash, chief coordinator of Allen, commenced the programme with the felicitation of a few meritorious students of LCS who have secured admission to the IITs and esteemed medical colleges.

Abhimanyu Tomar addressed the students and spoke about effective learning methods, career planning, and Allen’s association with Lourdes Central School. He emphasised the importance of choosing the right college for academic and career success. Following this, CA Kiran Vasant shared valuable insights into the significance of pursuing Chartered Accountancy in the modern world. He also shed light on the challenges involved in the CA journey, as well as the foundation and pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

These sessions were followed by a question-and-answer session, during which many Lourdites sought clarification on their queries.

The career guidance programme was informative and enriching, providing students with greater clarity about career opportunities and the importance of making informed choices.
