Mumbai, Oct 10: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has launched a new YouTube channel, ‘Being The Salman Khan’, offering fans a fresh way to revisit his acting journey through lessons on body language, dialogue delivery and the screen mannerisms that have defined his career.
The actor launched the channel on September 22 and has uploaded 10 videos so far. He recently shared its link on his Instagram story, inviting fans to explore the new digital venture.
Unlike conventional celebrity channels that focus on personal updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses, ‘Being The Salman Khan’ follows a distinctive format featuring two versions of the actor. One appears as an experienced acting and personality coach, while the other plays a novice student learning the craft.

Through these videos, the coach guides the student on body movements, dialogue delivery and mannerisms associated with Salman’s on-screen persona, presenting the lessons in a light-hearted manner.
Sharing the channel link on Friday, Salman wrote, “Shuru se shuru karte hain. Mera official YouTube channel. A se Z tak sab yahan milega” (Let’s start from the beginning. My official YouTube channel — you’ll find everything here, from A to Z).
This is not the actor’s first venture on YouTube. In 2020, he launched ‘Salman Khan Films Music’, which has nearly three million subscribers and features songs from his films as well as independently released music.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Salman also explored singing, releasing tracks such as ‘Pyaar Karona’ and ‘Tere Bina’, expanding his work beyond acting.
The new channel offers another way for fans to engage with the actor while revisiting the screen image that has remained closely associated with him throughout his career.
Salman joins several Bollywood stars who have established their own YouTube channels to connect with audiences beyond films. Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kartik Aaryan, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Farah Khan are among the celebrities who share personal moments, travel diaries and behind-the-scenes content on the platform.
The trend also extends to the South Indian film industry, with actors such as Allu Arjun and Mohanlal having official YouTube channels. Television personalities, including Dipika Kakar, Shoaib Ibrahim, Jannat Zubair and Anushka Sen, have also built audiences through lifestyle videos, vlogs and glimpses of their everyday lives.
On television, Salman is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20, marking his 15th season as the host of the reality show.
On the film front, he will next appear in Maatrubhumi, earlier titled Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangda Singh. Its release has been delayed, and the makers are yet to announce a revised date.
