Washington, Apr 5 (IANS): At least 12 air-passengers in the US suffered injuries after their flight encountered some turbulence, officials said.
According to officials, it could not be immediately confirmed whether the turbulence Wednesday was caused by the same storm that generated multiple tornadoes in north Texas Tuesday.
The United Airlines flight, from Florida to Houston city in Texas, encountered turbulence while flying over Louisiana state, reported Xinhua citing CNN.
According to Darian Ward, spokesperson for Houston Airport Systems, the flight, with 151 people on board, landed safely in Houston early Wednesday.
About a dozen tornadoes battered the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas Tuesday, wounding at least 10 people and causing widespread damage.
