8.9 Magnitude Quake Rocks Sumatra

Hong Kong, Apr 11 (IANS): An earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale was felt off the west coast of northern Sumatra in Indonesia Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicentre was at a depth of 33 km, reported Xinhua.
