Islamabad, Apr 11 (IANS): At least 12 people were killed and 15 injured Wednesday when two passenger vans collided in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a media report said.
The accident took place when a passenger van heading towards Abbottabad from Rawalpindi collided with a van in Haripur, a mountainous area located some 40 km northwest of the country's capital Islamabad.
Eight people died at the spot and four passengers later succumbed to their injuries, reported Xinhua citing a TV report.
Fifteen people were injured in the accident and five of them are in a critical condition.
