Five Dead in Karachi Violence


Islamabad, Apr 15 (IANS): Two political activists were among five people killed in violence in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi, a media report said Sunday.

Two Sunni Tehreek activists were shot dead in the Civil Lines area of the city, police said. Three more died in overnight violence in different parts of the city, Geo TV reported.

In another incident, a security official was shot near the I.I Chundrigar road. He was seriously injured.
