Bantwal, Apr 24: Six people were injured in a collision between a jeep and a Maruti Alto car at Melkar on National Highway 75, near here, on Tuesday April 24.
The jeep plying to Mangalore from Uppinangady collided with a Maruti Alto car plying from Uppinagady on Tuesday.
Six people were travelling in the Maruti Alto to attend a programme at Vamadapadav from Hassan and three people were travelling in the jeep, police sources informed.
The injured were admitted in a private hospital at Mangalore. Their details are not yet known. Both the automobiles were fully damaged due to the impact. Town police registered a case in this regard.
