Mangalore, Apr 25: Six people were injured in an accident that took place near Gurpur town here on Wednesday April 25.
The accident occured when a Maruti Omni (KA 21 N 1191) collided with a tempo (KA 10 2737) at around 6.15 am.
The injured are police personnel who were on their way from Puttur to Moodshedde firing range for practice.
The tempo was parked near Gurpur town with parking indicator or lights. As it was dark the driver of the Omni failed to notice the tempo and rammed into it.
The injured are Mamata, Dharmapal, Radhakrishna, Honappa Gowda, ASI Marava Gowda and driver Moosa Kunhi. All of them are recuperating in AJ Hospital.
Bajpe police have registered a case.
