Udupi, Apr 25: K Srinivas Todtillaya, a resident of the city was announced the winner of ‘Car in a Tank’ lucky draw organized by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Todtillaya won a Maruti Suzuki car worth Rs 7.5 lac for buying petrol for his vehicle at Bharani Fuels and Services, Brahmavar, near here.

Srinivas was the lucky winner from among 11 lac people from across the country who bought petrol of over Rs 500 from IOC filling stations.

IOC Mumbai executive director N Srikumar handed over the key of the Maruti Suzuki car during a function held at Brahmavar, near here, on Tuesday April 24.

Bangalore divisional general manager Murali Srinivasan, Brahmavar Bharani Fuels and Services proprietor Lata and Jitendra Shetty were also present on the occasion.

Mangalore region CDRSM K Pandurang Rao welcomed the gathering. IOC Karnataka executive director B Ashok delivered the introductory address. Prasanna Kumar compered the programme. Mangalore division manager K A Aithal proposed the vote of thanks.
