Vittal: Passengers Have Narrow Escape in Jeep-Mini Bus Collision

Vittal, Apr 28: A mini bus transporting a wedding party collided with a jeep in the middle of Kodangai bridge, located in Padnoor village, near here, on Thursday April 26.  The jeep driver survived with bruises.

The jeep, owned by a resident of Kabaka village, near here, collided with the mini bus carrying a wedding party from Kudtamuger on Thursday afternoon.  The traffic on either side of the road was stalled for nearly half-an-hour as drivers of both automobiles engaged in verbal abuse.

Meanwhile, police arrived on the spot and cleared the vehicles and restored normal traffic.
