Mangalore, May 5: AJ institute of Medical and Dental Sciences will hold its decennial year celebration on Sunday May 6 at 5 pm at AJ Medical Auditorium here.
DV Sadananda Gowda, chief Minister of Karnataka will be the chief guest. Dr M Veerappa Moily, union minister of corporate affairs, Nalin Kumar Kateel, member of Parliament, Dr K S Sriprakash, vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and B Janardhana Poojary will share the dais during the stage programme.
AJ Shetty, president, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust will preside over the function.
AJ Institute was started in the year 2002 and completes its decennial this year. Presently there are 150 under graduate medical students and post graduate courses have commenced in all clinical and pre/para clinical subjects since the year 2009. Dental science is recognized for 100 admissions for BDS by the Dental Council of India. The college has applied for super specialty courses on MCH in Urology and Plastic Surgery and DM in Cardiology.
AJ hospital and Research center provides high tech global health education and care. It is a multi specialty diagnostic and treatment center with recent diagnostic methodologies.
