Mon, May 07 2012I missed this grand function for the first time. I am proud about this mass wedding ceremony and of my Parish. First I remembered Late Rev. Fr. Fredrick V Pereira who passed away on Feb. 27. 2011. He has left behind his footprints on the sands of time as the pioneer of low-cost mass wedding among Catholic community of Mangalore. The first such economy-oriented mass wedding ceremony in the history of catholic church took place in Mangalore(Ruzai) on May 1976.
