Udupi: Don Bosco Youth Centre Shirva Conducts Valedictory of Summer Club

Udupi, May 11: The valedictory function of the 18-day summer club programme, organized by Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva, was held on Thursday May 10. The club was organized by the Salesian Fathers and Brothers of Don Bosco for students from Class III to Class X.
 
Upcoming lead singer and composer of Konkani music Kevin Misquith was the guest of honour.







































Fr Stany Tauro, parish priest, Our Lady of Health parish, Shirva, presented the honors to the children for successful completion of coaching in music, dance, art, and English-speaking.  He lauded the efforts of Salesian Fathers, Brothers, and Young Volunteers for coming up with such an apt programme for the children during their vacation.
 
Fr Maxim, rector of the Institution, presided and felicitated Misquith on the occasion.
 
Fr Augustine Fernandes felicitated the coaches, volunteers, and donors during the programme.
 
The club children put up a fine performance of all the skills they learnt during the course of the summer club.  Hundreds of enthusiastic parents and well-wishers of the institution witnessed a beautiful unfolding of dance, drama, and music.
 
Br Mervyn Fernandes, Br Kiran Nazareth, Br Michael, and Br Prashanth compered the programme.
