Moodbidri, May 13: M Veerappa Moily, Cabinet Minister of Corporate Affairs formally inaugurated ‘Alvas Pragathi-2012’, a two-day mega job placement mela organized by the Alva’s Education Foundation here on Saturday, May 12 at the college premises.

After inaugurating the programme, he said that Mohan Alva has been a key factor in helping the students to build a greater India.

The Alva institution has enabled students to build a bright career. The students must make complete use of this opportunity, Moily advised.

Mohan Alva, president of Alva’s Education Foundation welcomed the gathering of students. As many as 150 companies took part extending career opportunities.  More than 12,000 students in and around the state and students from other states too registered for job placements.

A chamber was given to each of the representatives of the 150 companies. LCD and LEDs screens were placed to display a brief explanations of each company, job opportunities and interview details.
