Mangalore: NHAI Officials Study Feasibility of Road Crossing on NH 66

Following the plea from Mukka residents led by Catholic Sabha unit of Mukka parish urging National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to allow road-crossing on NH 66 at Corporation Bank, Mukka branch or Holy Spirit church, Mukka, NHAI officials arrived at the location on Sunday May 13.


 
Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes held discussions with NHAI chief general manager (technical) A K Mathur and his team in order to find a solution to people’s grievances on road-crossing.
 
NHAI project director Gavasane, project manager K M Hegde, senior officers, MLA Abayachandra Jain, Mukka parish priest Fr Lawrence Martis, Catholic Sabha Mukka parish unit president Santosh Sequeira, Satya Dharma temple chief trustee Mahabala Rai, Lawrence Rodrigues, Annayya Anchan, Mohammed Aslam, Jagdish, NSUI former district president Wilfred D’Souza, and Mukka parish school parents–teachers Association president Simon were present on the occasion.
