Udupi, May 15: The titular feast of Our Lady of Fatima, the parish patron of Mundkur Church, was celebrated here on Sunday May 13.
Kelmbet parish priest Fr Michael Mascarenhas, Mundkoor parish priest Fr Canute Barboza, and guest priest Fr Praveen Fernandes, celebrated the festal Eucharistic on Sunday morning.
Fr Mascarenhas, in his homily, stressed the message of Our Lady of Fatima, who sought penance and repentance for the salvation of mankind.
Blessed candles were distributed to the donors before the Eucharistic celebration.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions that were organized by Mundkoor parish ICYM unit on the occasion.
The feast concluded with sumptuous food that was served to all parishioners and guests on Sunday afternoon.
