Udupi: Block Congress Committee Donates Computers to Free Training Centre

 Udupi, May 22: Karkala MLA Gopal Bhandary inaugurated the free computer training centre set up by Inna Congress local committee at Inna–Santoor Kopla Congress office, near here, on Monday May 21.

Speaking on the occasion, Bhandary said that it’s not the objective of the Congress to grab power. “Its purpose is to serve the society by strengthening the party.  It’s an ambitious programme to get world recognition for common folks,” he said.

“During my term, I have strived to get the maximum aid for Inna gram panchayat,’ said MLA Gopal Bhandary.  He also commended Rocky D’Silva, vice-president of Karkala block Congress committee, for donating four computers at a total cost of Rs 1.5 lac.

Fr Fredrick Mendonsa, parish priest, Don Bosco parish, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, Inna Jumma Masjid Khatib K M Abdul Rehman Faizi, Karkala block Congress president Sudhakar Kotian, block youth Congress president Ravishankar Serigar, TP member Xavier D’Mello, Deepak Kotian, women’s Congress president Nancy D’Silva, TP former member Jaya S Kotian, Inna gram panchayat former president John Mendonca, district Congress minority unit president M P Moidinabba, and Kusha R Moolya were present on the dais.

    Dear Gopu when you have billions of dollars in Swiss BANK just four computers at a total cost of Rs 1.5 lac....good joke for the day and for Karkala public !!!!GOD BLESS THEM!!!
