Mangalore, May 25: In a nationwide survey conducted by ‘The Pioneer’, a leading newspaper, on status and standing of institutes providing health education, the city based K S Hegde Medical Academy (a constituent unit of Nitte University) has been ranked 20th in the all India rankings.
The Pioneer survey covered more than 300 medical colleges and placed KSHEMA in the top 10%. Ranking was done based on brand identity and inputs from academicians and professionals.
The K S Hegde Medical Academy, one of the youngest in the list of India’s best colleges, was also recently conferred candidacy status by International Accreditation Organization (USA).
The college is also recognized by the Malaysian medical council.
