Puttur, May 28: In a tragic incident, Dr Dinesh Amin (56), a resident of Kuttar in Deralakatte drowned in Gundya river near Subramanya here on Sunday May 27.
Dr Amin along with his family had visted Subramanya Temple. After offering prayers on their way back home, they stopped near Gundya river for a dip which resulted in his tragic death.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
