Mangalore, May 29: Mandd Sobhann will be staging ‘Burgyalem Sobhann’, a music and cultural extravaganza by the trainees of Vikas camp held at Kalaangann from April 14 to April 22, as the 126th monthly theater at Noreen and Ronald Mendonca amphitheater, Shaktinagar, Makale, at 6.00 pm on Sunday June 3.
The participants of Vikas camp were trained by veteran musicians Anil Patrao, Eric Ozario, and Lenoy Lobo, renowned choreographers Nandita Sequeira, Rahul Pinto and Anil D’Cruz, well-known theater artistes Christopher D’Souza Neenasam and Roshani Goveas.
Alvares family of Bondel are the sponsors of 126th monthly theater, in memory of the late Jeevan Alvares.
Top trainee award, special award, top division award, and certificates will be issued to all camp participants. A cash award of Rs 5,000 will be presented to the highest scorer in Konkani in the recently held SSLC exam.
