Mumbai, Jun 7: Three books were released during the birth centenary anniversary celebrations of Kannada litterateur Gourish Kaikini, which was organized jointly by Karnataka Sangh Mumbai and Mumbai University Kannada department, recently.
 
Kannada Sahitya Paishat Maharashtra unit president H B L Rao released ‘Jeevi Vachana Shataka’ authored by Dr Jeevi Kulkarni, while Dr K S Sharma read the forewords.

 
Narayanamruta Foundation founder N R Rao released the book ‘Anubhava Katana’ by Y N Joshi, while Dr Jeevi Kulkarni read the foreword.
 
Dr Jayant Kaikini released book ‘Spandana’ while Dr Raghunath read the foreword.
 
Dr Jayant Kaikini, talented son of Gourish Kaikini, was felicitated on the same occasion.
 
Karnataka Sangh president Dr G D Joshi, Prakash Burde, Dr Vishwanath Karnad, Bhujanga Shetty Kurkal, and Srinivas Jokatte were present.
 
Mumbai University Kannada department head Dr G N Upadhya welcomed the gathering.
