Mysore: Annual Feast of St Antony Church, Dornahalli on June 13

Mysore, Jun 13: The annual feast of St Antony Shrine of Dornahalli located in Diocese of Mysore is being celebrated here on Wednesday June 13.

In preparation to the feast Novenas have began from June 4th. ‘Strengthening our faith in Christ’ was the theme during novena days.

Fr J B Xavier (Director, ODP Mysore), Fr John Peter Rego (parish priest, T Narasipur), Fr Patrick Jonas (parish priest Alphonce Nagar) and Fr Silvai Muthu (CSSR) offered novena masses.

The pontifical festive mass will be celebrated on June 13th at 10 am offered by Bishop Dr Thomas A Vazhaphilly of Mysore diocese. The next festal mass will be celebrated at 11.30 am in Tamil by Fr Joseph Abraham (Bangalore Archdiocese) and later at 1 pm in English by Fr Walter Lobo (OCD).  In the evening the festal mass will be celebrated at 5.30 pm in Kannada by Dr Ignatius Paul Pinto (Former Bishop of Bangalore)

At 7 pm there will be adoration of Blessed Sacrament and glorious procession of St Antony.

Arrangements are made for devotees visiting from far places. The masses will celebrated every hour starting from 5 am to make pilgrims comfortable.

Fr Gilbert Dsouza, Rector, sisters and parish council members have welcomed every devotee to visit the shrine on festive day and seek blessings of God.

    May the almighty bless and protect all the devotees of st Anthony who could attend the feast and who could not attend the feast as well Wonder worker st anthony hear our prayer .In pain and anguish we come to you dear st Anthony hear our cry .
    Dear devotees pl pray for me and my family especially the two women who have cheated me and caused me a lot of pain I have been very kind and still they have made me very sad please pray for me and my family
