Mangalore, Jun 16: The titular feast of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar was celebrated on Friday June 15.
The concelebrated festal mass was presided over by Fr Rohith D’Costa, the assistant director of St Joseph Engineer Collage, Vamanjoor, Mangalore, together with 19 priests from the Varado and neighboring parishes.
Fr Rohith in his homily promoted devotion towards the Sacred Heart of Jesus and invited the faithful to draw inspiration from it. The parish priest honoured all the sponsors at this occasion.
The key of newly built jubilee house was handed over to the family of Charles D’Costa by Fr James D’Souza.
Parish priest Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas thanked all the people for making the day a grand success.
