Mangalore: Prasad Madhwaraj, Brother of Pramod Madhwaraj, Passes Away

Mangalore, Jun 23: Malpe Coronate Caning Company promoter, son of late Malpe Madwaraj  and Manoram Madwaraj, Prasad Madwaraj (48) passed away at KMC hospital on June 23, 2012 after a brief illness. 
 
He is survived by his mother, his brother congress political leader Pramod Madwaraj and five sisters.
 
An engineer by profession Prasad served as an executive engineer in his father's company Coronate Canning for about 20 years (1982- 2002). He settled in Mangalore for a short period and later returned to reside at Malpe.
 
According to family sources, he was ailing for last six months. A philanthropist Prasad was a good social worker and he served towards all sections of the society without looking at caste, creed or religion.
 
Political leaders from Udupi region, including MLA Ragupathi Bhat, R Sabapathi, Vasath V Salian, Vinaya Kumar Sorake condoled his death.
 
Member of Parliament J P Hegde has expressed his shock over the death of Prasad, and said that the society has lost a true social service personality, and sympathized with his death.

    I agree with Shahanaz as well as Sylvester. I was in contact with Prasad for more than 30 years and I know him well.

    As Shahanaz clued the reason for his addiction to alcohol is true.

    Let this will be a lesson for those who prefer alcohol to cover or overcome their sorrows and problem.

    May his soul rest in peace . No doubt he assured his place in heaven because of the good things he done in his entire life.

    I know Pacchhu very well. He is very kind and humane. But his personal life is the most disturbed one for which he took over to excessive drinking...Thats his fate and destiny. Sorry to lose him and may his soul rest in peace. My condolences to Ms Madhwaraj and Pramod...

    I am truly saddened hearing the news of Prasad Anna's demise. He was an amazing person who was always so kind and considerate to everyone who knew him. His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His fond memory will always remain deep within our hearts. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to his family, relatives and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
