Mangalore, Jun 26: Catholic Sabha Cordel Unit, Kulshekar distributed school uniform for 54 economically poor children of St Joseph Higher Primary School, Kulshekar.

Fr Valerian Pinto, director of Catholic Sabha and the parish priest of Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar, presided over the function and advised the children to study well and to learn the life values and inculcate discipline. He congratulated the president and the members of the Catholic Sabha, Cordel for their service.

The chief guest Victor Vas, president, Catholic Sabha, Cordel Unit spoke at the occasion and stated that children should not be deprived of education just because they do not have facilities. Hence it is the duty of the people to support the same through good-will.

Sr Felcy Rita the head-mistress welcomed and thanked the Catholic Sabha, Cordel Unit.

Victor Vas President, Sushil Noronha, previous president, Alban Pinto, treasurer, Alphonse D’souza, secretary and the other members were present during the occasion.
