Wimbledon 2012 : Nadal moves to second round

London, June 26 (IBNS): Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal fought hard to move to the second round of the man's singles event of Wimbledon by defeating Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil here on Tuesday.

Nadal defeated his opponent by 7-6 (7/0), 6-2, 6-3 margin in the first round of the tournament.

Former Wimbledon champion had a shaky start in the match and fought hard to win the first round against Bellucci.

Nadal won the match in two hours and fifteen minutes.

He will now face Czech Republic's Lukas Rosol.

Andy Murray of  United Kingdom defeated   Russia's Nikolay Davydenko by 6-1 6-1 6-4 margin in the first round match on Tuesday to move the next round of the tournament.

Murray defeated his opponent in just one hour and 35 minutes.
