Udupi: Former UDA President Alevoor Nagaraj Passes Away

Udupi, Jun 27: Former Udupi Development Authority president Alevoor Nagaraj (65) passed away following a heart attack on Tuesday, June 26 in a private hospital in Manipal near here.

Nagaraj, a bachelor, leaves behind his sister.

Apart from being a UDA president, Alevoor had served several social organizations in and around Udupi. He was the former vice-president Alevoor gram panchayat, president of Udupi Devadiga Sangha, and secretary of Udupi block Congress.

Community leaders and politicians expressed their condolences on the demise of Alevoor Nagaraj.
