Udupi, Jun 27: Photojournalist Astro Mohan daily bagged first prize in the international competition organized by Nikon, United Kingdom, for his picture of ‘Kambala’, the buffalo race of the coastal district.
 
Nikon, United Kingdom, organizes monthly competitions on new topics. It organized ‘Movement’ this month and the photographers of different nations sent in their entries. 

It has shortlisted five pictures and winners were selected through online voting. The picture that was clicked by Astro Mohan bagged the first prize.
 
The picture of ‘Flamin’ Hot’ by Paul Bell, ‘Bolivian Walk’ by Samantha Growers, ‘Big Wheel’ by Lisa O’Mohone and ‘Painting Pinchas’ by Mike Hudson bagged the runners-up prizes.
 
Nikon, UK, will present a camera and publish the winning picture by Astro Mohan in their monthly magazine.  It’s the second international prize bagged by Astro Mohan.
