Mangalore, Jun 28: Mandd Sobhan will be staging ‘Goem Gaita’, a musical concert by ‘Naad Brahma’ - the sound of music group from Goa as 127th monthly theatre at Louisa and Francis Fernandes Cascia amphitheatre, Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, at 6.30 pm on Sunday July 1. It is being sponsored by NRI entrepreneur Ronald Colaco and family, Bangalore.

The programme is a tribute to many Konkani poets and writers such as Bakibab Borkar, advocate Uday Bhemre, Dr Bhicaji Ghanekar, Kakodkar, Ramesh Veluskar, Milind Kakodkar, Chandrika Padgaonkar, Dr Anant Hede, and many more.

Many of the songs have been set to a musical tune for the first time and the team of Naad Brahma comprising Dr Anant Hede, Premanand Veluskar, Madhumita Mahatme, and Darshana Manerkar will enthrall the audiences at Kalaangann on Sunday.

Anand Satoskar, Dilip Naik, Sahil Ghonsekar, Ibrahim Shaikh, and Jeetendre Tandel will be the playback singers.

The programme will be compered by ‘Prudent India’ anchor Chandrika Padgaonkar.
