Japan's Jobless Rate Falls

Tokyo, Jun 29 (IANS): Japan's jobless rate dropped 0.2 percent from the previous month to a seasonally adjusted 4.4 percent in May, government data showed Friday.

The number of jobless people contracted 3.3 percent to 2.89 million, according to a report released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
