Mumbai, Jun 30: Clad in one of the most gorgeous lehengas made out of three kanjeevaram saris Esha Deol tied the knot with beau, diamond merchant, Bharat Taktani in a very lavish manner.  The wedding was held at an Iskcon temple here in Mumbai.

Esha and Bharat have been dating for a while before they got engaged in February, earlier this year. Esha’s mother, Hema Malini and sister Ahana seemed over joyed at the wedding. Hema along with her husband actor Dharmendra gave the bride away in a traditional south Indian wedding ceremony. But what was shocking to see was that step brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol were missing. Reports state that they were busy at shoot and could not make it.

B-town celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee , Fardeen Khan, Nita Ambani and Subroto Roy from the business field were seen in plush Indian attire.

Abhay Deol wished his cousin all the best for her future and he stated in a report saying that he was very happy that Esha is finally settling down. He also took part at all the temple rituals as the brother of the bride.
Vyajayanthimala and Manoj Kumar actors from the yester years showered their blessings on the newlywed couple.

Neeta Lulla and her daughter Nishka  also graced the occasion,Lulla being the official designer of the wedding entourage.

The bride was given away from Hema’s Juhu residence. The couple are expected to host an even more grand wedding on June 30 at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
