Mangalore, July 4: Ramanath Rai, MLA and president of DK district congress informed that the party will organize a public awareness campaign against the failure of the BJP led state government on July 7 at 11 am, in Town Hall, here.
Addressing the reporters in Circuit House, he said that Siddharamaiah, leader of opposition, Karnataka Legislative Assembly, RS Patil, UR Sudearshan and other congress leaders will participate in the campaign.
The convention will stress more on the maladministration of the government and total failure in the governance from the past four years. On this note, public awareness programme will be held, he added.
Abhaychandra Jain, MLA, Gulzar Banu, mayor, MCC, Shashidhar Hegde, former mayor, Ivan D’Souza, TK Sudhir, Moideen Bawa, Mamatha Gatty, Vijay Kumar Shetty and other congress leaders were present at the press meet.
