Pakistan Rejects Involvement of State Actors in 26/11

New Delhi, Jul 5 (IANS): Pakistan Thursday rejected any involvement of state agencies in the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai.

"I categorically reject any insinuation of involvement of any state agencies in an act of terror in India," Pakistani Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani replied when asked about the disclosures of Abu Jindal Hamza that India believes point to the involvement of Pakistan.

"Whenever we are faced with terror India and Pakistan should intensity cooperation," Jilani said at a joint press conference here with his Indian counterpart Ranjan Mathai on day two of their talks.

Jindal, an Indian handler of the 2008 carnage, was arrested June 21 at Delhi airport. He has told Indian investigators that the terror attack was controlled from Pakistan.

India has not handed over a dossier on Jindal to Pakistan.

Jindal has confessed to being in the control room in Karachi directing the 10 terrorists who launched their carnage in Mumbai, killing 166 people and injuring 238 people.
