Udupi, Jul 6: “Charity done with the least of expectations is worthy indeed,” said Dr H Shantaram, former governor, Rotary district 3180.
 
He was speaking at the installation ceremony of Rotary Club, Brahmavar, during the function held at Mother Palace Auditorium, Brahmavar, on Wednesday July 4.

“Charity should not be done for publicity and should instead help fellow men lead fruitful lives,” added Dr Shantaram.
 
Sundaram Shetty and Nandakishore Hegde assumed charge as new president and secretary of Rotary Club, Brahmavar.
 
The Zone 2 assistant governor Ashok Kumar Shetty, zonal representative Anandaram Tunga, and former Rotary governor Jnanavasant Shetty were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
B M Bhat, B Bhujanga Shetty, Prakash Shetty, Alwyn Andrade, Fr David Lawrence Crasta, Udayakumar Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty, and Jai Kishan were present.
 
Outgoing president Ashok Kumar Shetty welcomed the gathering and outgoing secretary Baikady Dinakar Shetty read the annual report.
