Mangalore, Jul 6: The students of Shree Devi Institute of Technology attained 100% results in the examinations conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University during May and June this academic year.

 In the electronics and communication stream, the college attained 100% results with 88% students passing with first class with distinction and 12% students passing with first class. In information science and engineering, the college attained 100% results with 88% students passing with first class distinction and 12% students passing with first class. In computer science and engineering 82% students passed with first class distinction and 16% students passing with first class. In mechanical engineering 58% students passed with first class with distinction and 38% first class. These students had joined the college in the academic year 2008.

At present the college offers courses in aeronautical engineering, civil engineering and M.Tech. Courses in computer science and engineering, digital electronics & communication, MBA and MCA are also offered.

The college recorded excellent placement records with students being placed in reputed companies like Infosys, Birlasoft, HCL, HP, IBM, Accord Systems, CINT, CDC Software, Spar Infotech, Flexi Resources, Pheonix Maritime, SLX Software.
