Mumbai: Kunda Kannada Balaga Invites Entries for All India Open Essay Competition

Mumbai, Jul 7: Under the joint auspices of the metro-based Kunda Kannada Balaga and Kundapur Board High School Alumni Association, an all India open essay competition in Kunda Kannada will be held.

The first prize is Rs 1,500, second prize Rs 1,000 and third prize Rs 500.
 
More info:
1)    Its open to all Kannadigas.
2)    The essay should be own and unpublished.
3)    A self-addressed-envelope should be enclosed separately.
4)    Name and address should be in English.
5)    No entry fee.
6)    The jurors’ decision binds all.
7)    No scope for correspondence.
8)    The essay should be written or typed on one side of foolscap paper not exceeding 4 – 6 pages.  Carbon copies and photocopies will not be accepted.
9)    It reserves the right to publish the essays including the prize-winning essay.
10)  One can send one or more essays.
11)  It reserves the right to any decision related to this competition.
12)  The last date will be October 15, 2012.
