Bhatkal: Four Injured in Two Seperate Accidents

Bhatkal, Jul 8:
Three people were injured when a bus and a Maruthi Omni Van collided at Sappatti Sarpankatte, here.

Nitesh Shetty (23), Sudakar Naik (32) from Untuwani were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to Bhatkal Government Hospital and later shifted to Manipal hospital.

Bhatkal rural police have registered a case in this regard.

In yet another accident that took place near Tangungundi Cross, a motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a Bollero car.

The injured has been identified as Muqeem Ahmed (35), a residence of Moosa Nagar Bhendigan Bhatkal. He was moving towards his house from Murudeshwar when the accident took place.

He was taken to Manipal hospital. The driver of the Bollero Car fled from the spot immediately after the accident.

Bhatkal town police have registered a case in this regard.
