Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank to Open 48th Branch on Jul 12

Mumbai, Jul 8:
The 48th branch of metro-based Bharat Co-operative Bank, a multi-state scheduled bank, will be opened at Karkala in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka on Thursday July 12.  It will be the 10th branch in Karnataka.  The Bank has an ambitious plan to create a milestone in the co-operative sector in the country by opening 50 branches by August 21, 2012 in order to celebrate the 34th ‘Founder’s Day’ in a unique manner.
 
The Bank’s former chairman and director Jaya C Suvarna will inaugurate the forty-eighth branch at first floor, Sovereign Building, A S Road, Karkal, on Thursday morning.
 
The Bank’s chairman Vasudev R Kotian will inaugurate the banking facilities. Deputy chairperson Rohini J Salian will inaugurate the ATM kiosk and safe lockers.
 
The Bank’s MD and CEO C R Mulky, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Shekar Poojary, deputy general managers Vivek S Shanbagh, Raghu Poojary, Suresh Salian, Shobha Dayanand and Nityanand D Kotian, assistant general manager Prabhakar G Suvarna, directors M B Kukyan, Pushpalata N Salian, L V Amin, Raja V Salian, Jyoti K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Shekar M Kotian, Mohan G Poojary, Chandrashekr S Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, J V Kotian, N Nityanand, Bhaskar M Salian, Rohitaksha M Suvarna, Ratan Umesh Sanil, K Narayan Suvarna, and Jaya Aitappa Kotian will be present on the occasion.
