Udupi : Titular Feast of Kallianpur Church Celebrated

Udupi /Kallianpur, Jul 9 : One of oldest historical church of Mangalore Diocese devoted to Our Lady of Miracles' titular feast was celebrated here with great devotion and vigour. The high mass which was led by Fr. Valerian Mendonca Parish Priest of Barkur church as well as former Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres and former Principal of Milagres College.

Former parish priest Rev Fr. Xavier Pinto, former asst parish priests, varado priests, Pilar Fathers and other guest priests were participated during the mass.
























































During the homily Fr. Valerian Mendonca said that since more than 332 years Milagreans at Kallianpur maintained their faith on Our Lady of Miracles. Devotion and faith on Our Lady of Miracles not deminished over here till now. Pope declared this year devoted to "Faith".

During the mass the firgent of titular feast late A.J. D'Silva's Son Gilbert D'Silva was honoured with candle by Fr. Stany B. Lobo. Large number of devotees of Milagres participated at the mass with great devotion and vigour. At the end of the mass the parish priest Fr. Stany B. Lobo was greatful for those people who were the part and sole of the celebration of the feast and he wished all the parishioners and well wishers a very happy feast and called upon to continue to keep the faith strong.
