Moscow, Jul 15 (IANS/RIA Novosti): Seven gunmen and a security personnel were killed in an anti-terrorist operation in Russia's southwestern region of Dagestan.
The gunmen were surrounded overnight Friday in Utamysh village, an official said Saturday.
"Five bodies were taken from the scene of the gun battle and there is also information about two more dead. One member of the security forces was also killed and one injured," the official said.
