Road widening is not the solution to control traffic congestion. You are widening the road ,but no use.You are making place for illegal parking of vehicals. First of all you shieft the Service Bus Stand, then You see 75% of traffic is diverted. Particularly The road DC has mentioned All the commercial building having parking in the back side of the building.Ask them to make us that place. Then DC can see that Widening is required or not.

Really the Project of widening our City roads like Ganapathy High School and Sharau Mahaganapathy road etc undertaken by the Dist. Admn. needs to be appreciated. In our City limits many narrow roads are there which may be identifi3d and they should also be widened stage by stage. Naguri Mangalore junction railway station road is ery much in need of widening and early action should be taken to widen this road. Till last year with great difficulty we were passing through car street road as it was a narrow stretch and difficult to moe our ehicle. Always there was traffic jam here. Now we can't beliee it. It has become such a broad road. Thanks to our MLA Yogish Bhat who had really taken pains to widen this road. Apart from thyis some lanes may also be widened where we can't take our vehicles to our residences. Yogish Bhat and our present D.C and City Corporation Commissioner can also do this very important work.
