Kasargod: Eight Suspected H1N1 Cases Detected at District General Hospital

Kasargod, Jul 28: Eight suspected cases of H1N1 were detected in Kajampady Colony, Perla, near here, and their samples are being dispatched to KMC Hospital, Manipal.
 
One-and-a-half-year-old Pratiksha, residing in Kajampady Colony, passed away due to H1N1 just two days ago and many are admitted to the General Hospital, here. The residents of the colony are worried due to the spreading of the communicable disease in their locality.  The number of people seeking medical checks at the General Hospital is increasing everyday.
 
A total of 87 confirmed H1N1 cases have so far been detected in the district from June till date. Many were admitted for jaundice.
