Mangalore: A J Institute of Dental Sciences Organizes Check-up Camps in City

Mangalore, Aug 1: A J Institute of Dental Sciences as a part of rendering its services has conducted various camps across the city.

Camp at Badriya School, Faizalnagar

A dental check up camp was organized by A J Institute of Dental Sciences and St Aloysius College at Badriya School, Faizal Nagar on July 26. The school authorities had aptly made all the necessary arrangements for the camp. Dr Vijaya Hegde (HOD, department of public health dentistry) and Dr Niveditha participated in the camp along with a team of postgraduates and interns. Health cards were issued to all the students of the school and those requiring treatment were referred to A J Institute of Dental Sciences.



Camp at St Anns Old Age Home

A   dental treatment camp was organized by A J Institute of Dental Sciences, at St Anns Old Age Home, Naguri, on July 28. St Anns Old Age Home is a residential home for aged, sick, disabled and handicapped women. Dr Rajani George (department of public health dentistry) along with a team of dental surgeons and post graduates carried out various treatment procedures such as extractions, fillings and oral prophylaxis, for the inmates of the institution.


Camp at Jalligude

A dental check up camp was organized by A J Institute of Dental Sciences and CITU Bajjal Samithy on July 29 at Jalligude. The authorities had made all the necessary arrangements for the camp at the samithy office itself.  Dr Eby Aluckal (department of public health dentistry) participated in the camp along with a team of postgraduates and interns. Health cards were issued and those requiring treatment were referred to AJ Institute of Dental Sciences.
