Udupi: Two Injured in Bus-Truck Collision near Kaup

Udupi, Aug 9: A private bus and a mini truck collided at Tenka Yermal near Kaup here on Thursday August 9, injuring two persons.

Truck driver Dayanand (30), a resident of Tenka Yermal, and dairy clerk Vimala are the injured.

The accident occured when a speeding bus plying from Bellary to Mangalore collided with the mini truck. Dayanand and Vimala were transporting milk from a milk cooperative.

Both Dayanand and Vimala have been admitted to the hospital. Dayanand is said to be critical.

Padubidri police have registered a case.
